The Chevrolet Aveo is a subcompact automobile manufactured by a South Korean subsidiary of General Motors, GM Daewoo, and presented in 2002. It is marketed globally in 120 countries.
The original Chevrolet Aveo is based on a GM Daewoo T200 platform. It's also called Chevrolet Kalos, Holden Barina (TK), Pontiac Wave, Suzuki Swift+.
At Auto Shanhai 2005 General Motors introduced a revised sedan, developed in co-operation with PATAC. The internal code of those auto was T250. After some revision, and changes mainly in interior and exterior, a new interior IP (instrument panel) and minor equipment changes, including increased sound deadening.
A redesigned Chevrolet Aveo was introduced at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2007. Its purpose was to be sold in Europe and North America. This Aveo is also called Chevrolet Lova, Daewoo Gentra, Holden Barina (TK), Pontiac G3, and Pontiac Wave.
